Job Summary
Nuclear Analyst to provide expert analytical, technical, and programmatic support to the HQ Air Force DoD nuclear enterprise. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing nuclear stockpile sustainment, modernization planning, nuclear policy development, and strategic deterrence initiatives; preparing policy papers, briefs, and decision documents for senior leaders; coordinating staff packages and requirements; analyzing NC3 system readiness, survivability, and cybersecurity; evaluating DoD nuclear requirements; supporting governance meetings; tracking IMS milestones and risks; delivering concise post-meeting insights; and maintaining programmatic/historical documentation for long-term knowledge management. Requires strong written/verbal communication, experience with nuclear policy and NC3 systems, and ability to interface with senior military, civilian, and interagency stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in National Security, Nuclear Engineering, Political Science, International Affairs, or related discipline
