Job Summary
Nuclear Analyst to provide expert analytical, technical, and programmatic support to HQ DoD Air Force nuclear mission. Responsibilities include conducting research and analysis to support stockpile sustainment and modernization, developing policy papers and briefs for senior leaders, coordinating nuclear-related staff packages, analyzing NC3 system readiness and cybersecurity, evaluating DoD/Nuclear requirements, preparing governance materials, tracking IMS milestones and risks, participating in nuclear meetings, and maintaining programmatic/historical documentation for long-term knowledge management. Preferred background includes experience with AF/A10 or USSTRATCOM, IMS scheduling, and nuclear policy/arms control. Requires Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; Bachelor's degree in related disciplines with Master's preferred. Location: Hurlburt Field, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in National Security, Nuclear Engineering, Political Science, International Affairs, or related discipline
- Master's degree preferred
- Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility; SAP/SAR eligibility as required
- Experience 5-8 years in nuclear enterprise, strategic deterrence, NC3 or related DoD programs
- Strong knowledge of nuclear policy and deterrence concepts
- Experience preparing policy papers, briefs, and decision documents
- Experience coordinating staff packages and governance forums
- Experience IMS/Integrated Master Schedule
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
