Job Summary

Facilitate the effective adaptation of Air Force nuclear deterrence strategies and programs in response to evolving global and national security threats. Provide logistical and administrative support during forum execution to capture comprehensive records of strategic decisions and address urgent requirements related to nuclear enterprise governance and policy revisions. Work collaboratively on the strategic deterrence and nuclear integration initiative to support periods of heightened operations, including strategic assessments and unforeseen mission demands. This role sits within the strategic plans and policy support services team at Booz Allen, focusing on solving complex problems for clients to inform and shape nuclear policy, deterrence, and strategic planning.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working professionally in classified environments
  • Experience supporting nuclear security, nuclear deterrence, nonproliferation, counterproliferation, intelligence analysis, or strategic planning
  • Experience collecting, modeling, and interpreting operational, safety, and performance data to inform decision-making
  • Experience studying and evaluating nuclear operations to identify risks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) concepts
  • Ability to use tools supporting data analysis, documenting, organizing, and reporting, including database tools such as Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Nuclear Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the USAF, STRATCOM, NC3, or nuclear C2
  • Knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and international non-proliferation frameworks
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking, and open-source research skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior stakeholders
  • Completion of Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Training
  • Completion of Nuclear Security Fundamentals Courses
  • Radiological Emergency Management Certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
