Job Summary
Prepare patients and equipment for nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control. Perform studies independently, including on-call situations, portable exams, and work at other sites as required by the work area. This role includes rotating shifts with weekends and holidays, but no weekday call. The Nuclear Medicine Department at Memorial Hospital Shiloh provides comprehensive scans and cardiac stress testing services to inpatients and outpatients.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification
- RT (N) or CNMT
- PRN - rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- No weekday Call
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in one of the following areas: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), Nuclear Tech, Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), Tomography, Radiation Safety Officer, Radiologic Technologist – Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technologist, Radiotracer Technologist, PET Technologist
- Bachelor's Degree - Nuclear Medicine
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
