Job Summary
Product Specialist role focuses on end-to-end product support across reporting, fund finance activities, onboarding and maintenance, governance, regulatory processes, and ongoing operational administration. It also supports product strategy and analytics, including competitor analysis, cross-vehicle insights, and junior strategist coverage across asset classes (Alternatives, Index & Equities, Fixed Income & Liquidity, Multi-Asset). The role enables greater alignment between execution, data, and strategic decision-making and aims to establish a strong talent pipeline and long-term growth in India. Key responsibilities include executing business-as-usual product support for global pooled vehicles and strategic products, owning product reporting and analytics (monthly management reporting, regulatory snapshots, quarterly fund exposure and sales reviews), supporting fund finance activities (financial statement reviews, budgeting, NAV reviews, invoicing, line-of-credit management), managing fund onboarding and maintenance (share class setup, LEI registrations, Eagle data maintenance, closed-fund oversight), governance and oversight support (quarterly IC/Board reporting packs), regulatory and operational processes (PRIIPs/UCITS KIID, class actions, tax processes, proxy monitoring, securities lending program management, regulatory mailings), coordinating external vendor data reviews, and delivering product strategy and analysis support across asset classes. The Bangalore office hosts the team; remote working flexibility is noted in the broader context.
Required Qualifications
- Experience & Skills: 24 months as Associate Consultant/Technical coordinator (current role: P1) and 3-7 years of Product experience preferred
- Understanding of the investment management industry, familiarity with investment vehicles, marketing constructs, and distribution channels
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records
- Creative and proactive problem-solving abilities and ability to contribute ideas that benefit firm objectives
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; Copilot experience preferred
