Job Summary
Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) providing wound, ostomy and continence assessment, care and management with direct patient care and education. Collaborates with ParaMed’s nursing health care team, offers consultative support, participates in clinical leadership opportunities, and precepts other nurses. Follows evidence-based practices and ParaMed policies, with autonomy and opportunities for professional development in a community/home-health setting. Part-time role based in Ontario, Canada, including every other weekend. Required Qualifications
- Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC)
- Canadian Nurses Association Certification -WOCC(C) – an asset
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Nurse
- Current membership/registration with the Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence Canada (preferred)
