Job Summary
Design tools, engines, and mechanically functioning equipment while overseeing installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems. Review technical deliverables for HM&E and C4ISR systems, analyze third-party design validation reports, and conduct studies including weight, arrangement, and electrical load analyses. Maintain logs of design modifications and coordinate with contractors and servicing agencies. Participate in technical meetings to provide feedback on design challenges and ensure conformance to operational and contractual specifications. Requires a BS in Marine or Mechanical Engineering, CAC card, and Secret clearance. Salary is $70,000 to $75,000 annually with medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must qualify for and receive a CAC card
- Secret security clearance is required
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- BS in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Must meet DOT drug screening requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ACAT I acquisition program and processes highly desirable
- Trained in AutoCAD engineering drawing development highly desirable
- Familiar with the development of drawings, design analysis and technical reports for ship repair or related projects highly desirable
