Job Summary
Own and deliver New Product Introduction projects for Power Electronics and Valves programs, managing initiation, planning, budget control, execution, monitoring, and closure through industrialization. Create detailed program plans, control scope, hold parties accountable to deadlines, maintain risk logs, and chair project gate reviews. Liaise with internal stakeholders including Product leaders, engineers, EHS, Safety, Quality, IP, and Cyber teams to ensure timely execution. Report status, KPIs, and budgets to key stakeholders while motivating a matrix team to deliver complex projects on scope, time, cost, and quality. Coordinate with global teams across ITO, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Technical Regs.
Required Qualifications
- Project management and product lifecycle/obsolescence experience in electrical, power electronics and mechanical projects
- Experience in Industrial Automation and Control Systems domain
- Experience working with Engineering firms in domains such as HVDC and/or similar engineering domain
- Ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts
- General management, influencing and leadership skills
- Ability to interact effectively with different business departments and team members
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate the volatilities, uncertainties, complexities and ambiguities around managing the software programs
- Natural Problem Solver, with desire to make an impact & to continuously find ways to maximise the team's operational efficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Formal Bachelors in Engineering or similar domain
- Project Management certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent
- Experience in planning software such as Primavera 6, MS Project, or similar
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience presenting to executive level stakeholders
- Experience presenting to executive level stakeholders
