Job Summary
Gain a systems engineering level knowledge of sophisticated wafer inspection systems, including image processing servers, wafer stages, and motion control. Support external and internal customers in the operation, installation, upgrade, diagnosis, and repair of these systems. Respond to unresolved first-line issues by providing written plans of action or hands-on assistance at customer sites across Asia, the USA, and Europe. Write technical reports detailing issues, analysis, and engineering recommendations. Implement and supervise NPI and sustaining work tasks, including diagnostic improvements and software feature development. Collaborate with Engineering teams on design reviews to provide feedback on serviceability and drive small projects in a matrix environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, IT/Software/Networking, Electronics, Optics, Mechanical, Software or related technical field
- two (2) years of proven experience
- Hands-on experience building, operating, and solving problems for KLA Inspection systems
- Knowledge of servers, electrical and mechanical systems, and/or motion control
- Knowledge or experience with industry standard problem solving methodologies and models
