Job Summary
Develop and maintain detailed product schedules by translating master production schedules into executable work orders and shop floor plans. Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, production, and business teams to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch. Track hardware requirements, manage procurement, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure inventory readiness meets project timelines. Identify potential supply chain or production risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues to prevent delays. Prepare and present reports on project status, risk assessments, and opportunities for process improvement using ERP/MRP systems. Senior planners may mentor junior staff and provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to analyze supply chain data, forecast demand, and optimize material flow
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, capacity planning, and inventory management tools
