Job Summary
Lead the NPI Materials program within Global Operations to drive new product introductions from pilot to volume production. Orchestrate cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Operations, engineering) to define sourcing strategies and supplier evaluation for new products, confirm supplier readiness in terms of production capacity and critical parts manufacturing prior to milestones, perform regular cost rollups and analyze product cost performance to meet cost targets, and develop the supplier selection process for piece parts or outsourced assemblies. Manage should-cost and cost allocation concepts, identify opportunities to improve product design for cost/quality/delivery through early supplier involvement, and present cost-related updates and strategy to program executives. Familiarity with semiconductor industry and Etch equipment knowledge, and proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SAP are valued; ability to read BOMs and work with cross-functional teams to drive cost/quality improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company
- Preferred qualifications: Supply chain knowledge for critical commodities related to sourcing decisions and cost strategies
- Technical background, preferably in semiconductor industry and Etch equipment product knowledge is a plus
- Degree in Engineering Preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power Point and SAP
- Ability to read and interpret product BOMs
- Must be a self-starter and be able to operate independent of day to day supervision
- Direct experience leading cross-functional teams; Program Management experience required
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking and attention to details for everyday tactical execution
- Excellent people and presentation skills
