NPI Materials Planner

Job Summary
Collaborate with Engineering Program Management to understand build requirements for new products and support material transition, sample delivery, and deviation releases. Manage build schedule shortages impacting clear-to-build status, mitigate supply risks through data analytics, and develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies. Monitor BOM changes within MRP/SAP systems, manage consigned material demand and inventory allocation, and run review meetings with internal and external teams to align build schedules. Prepare executive reports on material availability and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in operations, IE, supply chain or Business
- 8+ years most recent experience in materials management, production planning, or supply chain management
- Experience with ERP/MRP demand planning and forecasting tools
- Rich experience on different commodities including EE, Mech, Interconnector etc
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and supply chain dynamics
- Experience working with BOM in OEM/CM environment
- Proven experience in materials planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analytics and advanced AI tools
