Job Summary
NPI Materials Intern will support materials development and movement for New Product Introduction projects within Johnson Controls' Controls Engineering labs. Responsibilities include managing material storage, tracking, labeling, shipping and inventory for engineering builds and prototypes; moving materials between NPI build sites; supporting data management of material records through Excel queries, pivot tables, and basic database tasks; and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure timely material availability for development and testing.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a 4 year college
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business
- An effective communicator to all levels of the organization
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
