Job Summary
Collaborate closely with R&D and Design Engineering teams to review new product designs for manufacturability, assembly, and testability. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introductions, design and procure manufacturing jigs and tools, and lead FMEA and DFX activities to mitigate risks. Generate comprehensive manufacturing documentation, train production personnel, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify cost reduction opportunities, and interface with external suppliers. Requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proven ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role with a strong focus on New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Understanding of DFM/DFA/DFT principles and their application in product development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D CAD models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with various manufacturing processes such as assembly, soldering, and testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
