Job Summary
NPI Manager to lead a team in transferring, installing, and improving build processes for products manufactured at the Penang, Malaysia facility. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects related to new product development and its transition to high-volume production. Will mentor staff, document and analyze manufacturing issues, collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Quality to identify and resolve issues, and drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Role requires coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded products, monitoring schedules and budgets, and serving as a technical liaison between departments to ensure quality and reliability of products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (IE/ME)
- 10+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- 10+ years of experience leading teams
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Experience with tooling, line layouts, capacity planning, training programs, and status reporting
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from initiation to delivery
- Technical background to support project management responsibilities
- Experience communicating with site leadership, customers, and department managers
