NPI Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct Design for Manufacturability reviews and establish end-to-end production methods, including process flow, work instructions, and tooling requirements. Lead pilot runs to validate technical requirements before full launch and coordinate Engineering Change Notices with the engineering team. Execute Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to mitigate production risks and initiate lean manufacturing opportunities. Act as technical liaison between engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure component readiness and material flow. Develop and document operational procedures compliant with ISO 9001-2015 while supporting global initiatives and large capital projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the manufacturing engineering field
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Able to lift and carry up to 25lbs
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, including air travel
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial or Mechanical preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills for leading cross-functional teams
- History of success in NPI & productivity improvements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
