Job Summary
NPDI Sourcing Engineer to lead procurement and sourcing across the NPI lifecycle for assigned product lines. Serve as primary interface between Engineering, Commodity Management, Suppliers, and Manufacturing to ensure successful product launches, supply readiness, cost competitiveness, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include prototype sourcing, BOM cost management, production transfers, risk mitigation, supplier readiness, cost reduction opportunities (e-Auctions, VE, negotiations), purchase BOM cost reporting, and coordinating with regional/global teams to mitigate supply chain risks and support ramp-up. Requires evaluating supplier quotations, tooling requirements, and manufacturing proposals; guiding stage-gate reviews; reporting procurement KPIs; and collaborating with EMS and manufacturing partners. Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; 5–7 years in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related functions; NPDI/NPI program experience preferred. Certifications such as PMP or CPSM are preferred. Travel ~15%. Onsite in Burnfoot (ROI) or Campsie (NI).
