NPB Tactical Operations Manager - 12M FTC/Secondment

NPB Tactical Operations Manager leads planning, delivery and reporting of workstreams within the Tactical Operations pillar of the Performance Restoration Framework, coordinating with RDG, DfTO and industry stakeholders. Responsibilities include acting as principal lead reporting to the Tactical Ops Steering Group and Programme Director, leading a working group to deliver initiatives, tracking progress, sharing good Tactical Operations practice for inclusion in Joint Performance Strategies, maintaining the Tactical Ops Knowledge Base, and developing guidance notes to outline good practice for improving performance and contributing to policy ambitions. The role involves ensuring key messages are cascaded across the rail network for senior-level reporting and engaging with industry partnerships to support delivery of workstreams, with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, change management, and high-level collaboration across the rail sector.
