Job Summary
Pediatric NP Provider for Hospice & Palliative Care in the Greater New York area. Field-based role covering Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island with in-person visits or telehealth as appropriate. Responsibilities include providing NP-level hospice/palliative care to pediatric patients, coordinating with the team physician and manager for face-to-face hospice eligibility evaluations, managing patient care plans, contributing to interdisciplinary team activities, and assisting in teaching curricula on pediatric hospice care. Requires a Master’s degree in nursing, NYS NP licensure (Pediatric/Family/Palliative), CPR-BLS, and ability to travel across geographic territory. Strong communication, teaching, and critical thinking skills are essential; experience in pediatric palliative/hospice settings is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing and graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program
- NYS NP License (Certified Pediatric, Family, or Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner)
- CPR-BLS
- NYS Driver's license and car
