Job Summary
Pediatric NP Provider Hospice/Palliative Care responsibilities include delivering NP-appropriate hospice/palliative services to pediatric patients in community or facility settings, performing in-person or telehealth visits, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, developing care plans and documentation, contributing to training and curriculum development for pediatric hospice care, and participating in quality-improvement activities. The role requires NYS NP licensure (Pediatric, Family, or Palliative Care) and a nursing graduate degree, with experience preferred in specialist-level palliative care or hospice settings and pediatric nursing. The position involves travel within the geographic territory and strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing and graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program required.
- NYS NP License (Certified Pediatric, Family, or Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner)
- CPR-BLS
- MSN/NP program graduate
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to travel across the agency’s geographic territory to provide patient care as needed.
