Job Summary
Provide virtual urgent care via phone and messaging, adhering to Oscar Medical Group guidelines while prioritizing efficiency and quality. Ensure patient access to services and collaborate with medical assistants, nurses, and other providers across service lines. Deliver care through the company platform, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and following up with members remotely. This full-time remote role requires 7a-5pm ET shifts with two weekend days every four weeks. Candidates must hold full practice licensure in at least three of five states (FL, TX, OH, NJ, GA) and possess 3+ years of urgent care or outpatient experience. The position supports Oscar's mission to refactor healthcare delivery for personalized member outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- NP or PA Degree from accredited program
- Board Certification
- Licensed in at least 3 out of the 5 following states: FL, TX, OH, NJ, GA
- Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor
- 3+ years experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice
- 2+ years of telehealth experience
- Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Spanish fluency
