Job Summary
Under the direction of the Chief of Internal Medicine and Family Medicine, this role is responsible for rendering professional medical services to patients in an ambulatory care setting. Essential functions include performing examinations, diagnoses, and treatment of patients, overseeing the management of chronic illnesses, collaborating with colleagues in a team-based model of care, and adhering to patient care standards. Candidates should be graduates of state-approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programs with national certification and must possess a Master’s degree. Experience in primary care is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved Program for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Possess national certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Must possess and maintain or be eligible for Mass DPH Controlled Substances registration and DEA registration
- Nurse Practitioner - Board of Registration in Nursing (Massachusetts) or Physician Assistant - Board of Registration of Physician Assistants (Massachusetts)
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association
