Job Summary
PRN NP/PA Gastroenterology role providing primary medical care under physician supervision. Responsibilities include obtaining complete medical history and performing physicals, ordering appropriate labs and diagnostic procedures, interpreting data to determine diagnoses and therapeutic plans, coordinating with supervising physicians, documenting findings and plans, patient and family education on diagnosis, testing, treatment, expected outcomes and prevention, evaluating treatment outcomes, supporting total quality improvement, and fulfilling compliance duties. Requires CT State PA license and DEA/state controlled substance certification; minimum three years of experience. Working conditions include moderate to significant manual skills and exposure to typical clinical environments. Salary range $105,000–$150,000 per year; location: Poughkeepsie, NY.
