Job Summary
Manage walk-in, procedure follow-up, and wound care patients with immediate access in a clinic and hospital-based setting. Provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention while collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals. Work independently within a complex surgery team consisting of four advanced practice providers and three physicians. This 1.0 FTE role includes an 80% hospital and 20% clinical split with a typical M-F schedule, weekend coverage, and call rotation. One and a half OR experiences is preferred. Candidates must possess current licensure as a registered nurse or physician assistant in the appropriate state, CPR certification, and national certification in the applicable area. Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing is required prior to practice.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state
- Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state
- Current certification in CPR
- National certification in applicable area
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
- Verification of legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
