Board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner with RNFA certification to join CVOR cardiac surgery first assist team in an 100% OR-based role. Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and NPs/PAs, operate in a modern heart center with high-volume pump cases, and support robotic surgery and advanced technologies. Requires BLS/ACLS; RNFA certification for NPs; minimum 1 year in CT surgery; employed through an academic physician group with robust benefits and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume cardiothoracic surgery program
- Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
- RNFA certification mandatory for Nurse Practitioners
- Ability to work exclusively in the operating room environment
