Job Summary
NP/PA Fellowship Clinical Faculty position in outpatient primary care combining clinical practice with academic leadership. 50% clinical care and 50% fellowship/academic responsibilities, mentoring NP/PA Fellows, direct patient care, developing and refining educational objectives and curriculum, and involvement in quality improvement and credentialing. Requires current CA license as NP or PA and a minimum of 3 years of clinical practice; includes teaching, supervision, and program development across multiple outpatient sites within a community health organization in Northern California.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted California license as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience as a provider or completion of a postgraduate NP/PA Fellowship program
- Strong commitment to medical education, mentorship, and evidence-based practice
- Experience providing high-quality primary care in outpatient or community health settings
- Minimum 2 years of experience using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
- Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in community health or ambulatory care environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- BCLS certification
