Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and examinations for patients admitted to medication maintenance within the Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program. Evaluate patient care outcomes, adjust treatment plans based on diagnostic results and feedback, and prescribe medications permitted by state regulations. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including the Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with CARF Standards, HIPAA, and clinic policies. Provide patient and staff education on medication maintenance while referring patients to appropriate physicians as needed. Work part-time, 24 hours per week across weekdays and rotating Saturday mornings.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Licensed to practice in the state of Indiana
- Active DEA license
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone
- Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards)
