Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder. Order laboratory studies, review results, and provide education or referrals as needed. Monitor high-risk patients and prescribe medications for substance abuse according to state regulations. Collaborate with the Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor to optimize care quality and ensure compliance with legal standards. Report significant patient issues and adverse events to the healthcare team. Part-time schedule available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, or any combination from 6:00am to 11:00am EST. Compensation ranges from $60 to $70 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed to practice in the state of New Hampshire
- DEA license
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner preferred
- Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities preferred
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone
- Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards)
