Job Summary
Join an established OBGYN group providing 100% women’s health care (obstetrics and gynecology) in Tucson, AZ as a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with 36 patient/clinic hours and 4 administrative hours, no-call, no evenings, and no weekend responsibilities. The NP will primarily care for obstetrics and gynecology patients within a busy practice of 8 OBGYNs and 5 NPs, with typical patient volumes around 25 per day after onboarding. Requirements include National NP certification and unrestricted AZ licensure (or ability to obtain), DEA license (or ability to obtain), CPR/BLS/NALS certification (or ability to obtain), and Women’s Health experience as an RN or NP. Prior women’s health experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- National Nurse Practitioner certification
- Unrestricted, active licensure in Arizona or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
- One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
