Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for outpatient Family Medicine in San Marcos, TX. Provide full-scope primary care including preventive services, acute care, and chronic disease management; perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings; order/interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging; develop and manage individualized treatment plans with supervising physicians; educate patients on wellness and disease prevention; maintain accurate EMR documentation; collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Previous experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
