NP Neonatal and Perinatal (NE)

Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) in a Level III NICU located at Ascension All Saints Hospital, Racine, WI. Responsibilities include caring for premature infants, developing care plans, coordinating with nurses, assisting with deliveries, consulting with mothers, and educating patients and families. Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, and documents care in EPIC. Supports 1300 births per year with an average daily census of 5-8 infants; collaborates with experienced NICU nurses and Neonatologists, part of the Newborn Care Providers group. Schedule involves 5–24 hour shifts in a 6-week period with weekend rotation and self-scheduling; role is salaried with comprehensive benefits. Minimum requirements include BLS, NP licensure in MN or WI, RN licensure in MN or WI (or multi-state), and Master's degree in Nursing; additional preferences include ability to resuscitate infants, manage ventilators/umbilical lines, and work calmly under pressure.
