Job Summary
Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NP) sought for All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. Responsibilities include caring for premature infants, creating care plans with nurses, assisting with deliveries, consulting with mothers, and providing direct treatment and management of neonatal health conditions within a Level III NICU with ~1300 births/year. Typical duties involve obtaining patient history, performing assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, preventative care, counseling families, and documenting care in the EPIC EMR. Required credentials include BLS within 30 days and NP licensure in WI or MN (or RN with WI/MN licensure as applicable); Master’s degree in Nursing. Strong collaboration within a team of neonatologists and NICU nurses; ability to work in a high-volume, high-acuity setting and support resuscitation and ventilator management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) within 30 days of hire
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing or Minnesota Board of Nursing prior to hire; licensure dependent on state of practice
- RN credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing or Minnesota Board of Nursing prior to hire; licensure dependent on state of practice; multi-state/Compact licensure acceptable
- Drug Enforcement Administration credentialed preferred
- Master's degree in Nursing required
