Job Summary
Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider in a Level III NICU at Ascension All Saints Hospital, Racine WI. Responsibilities include caring for premature infants, helping create care plans and navigate care with nurses, assisting deliveries, consulting with mothers, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, providing direct treatment and management of health conditions, and educating patients and families. Role requires BLS within 30 days, NP licensure either MN or WI, RN licensure in state, and a Master's degree in Nursing. 1300 births/year with an average daily census of 5-8 infants; NICU staffed by experienced nurses; EPIC EMR; per diem PRN schedule (5-24 hour shifts over 6-week period); benefits and culture highlighted by Ascension.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire or transfer date
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date (state-specific licensure)
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date (state-specific licensure)
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date (state-specific licensure)
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date (state-specific licensure)
- DEA credential preferred
