Job Summary
NP/PA needed for the School Based Health Center in Albany to serve students from Pre-K to 12th grade. Will work in one of the SBHCs to provide primary and preventative medical services and promote overall health to ensure students can fully benefit from their education. Must have 2-3 years' experience; experience in community health and preferably SBHC; EMR experience; bilingual/multilingual abilities; culturally competent care; and interest in ongoing learning and best practice development. NHSC loan repayment available. Excellent salary and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 2-3 years' experience
- Experience in Community Health, preferably in a School Based Health Center
- Knowledge of current health care needs and issues of school-aged children
- Experience with EMR
- Experience in delivering culturally competent healthcare
- Bilingual/Multi-lingual abilities
- Interest in ongoing learning, best practice development, and education
