Job Summary
Shipfitter – 1st Class sought for a Florida shipyard to perform steel structural work in all stages of new marine vessel construction with minimal supervision. Must read blueprints, understand ship terminology, measurements in US customary and metric, and interpret job drawings. Requires experience with oxy-acetylene/plasma cutting, fabrication equipment, and PPE as per OSHA standards.
