Job Summary
Perform steel and aluminum structural work in the repair and modernization of marine vessels, including US Naval Vessels, Military Sealift Command, and commercial ships/barges; read and interpret drawings, ship terminology, and NAVSEA standards; fabricate templates and foundations, install structures and aluminum per 5XXX standards; weld using SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW; operate oxy-acetylene torch; maintain PPE and OSHA safety practices; supervise helpers and coordinate tasks as assigned; adhere to quality requirements and job specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of related experience.
