Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector II responsible for inspecting materials and final products in an aerospace setting. Reads work orders, routers, and blueprints to determine specifications; measures and verifies tolerances using hand tools and inspection equipment; documents inspection results and ensures conformance to standards and regulations. Maintains knowledge of organizational policies, federal/state directives, and GD&T practices; analyzes data to determine compliance with quality standards; collaborates with teams to support quality objectives. Requires 4+ years of experience, HS diploma or equivalent, and US citizenship due to defense-contract work. Position is full-time with on-site duties at National City, CA and Houston, TX facilities.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years related experience
- AS9100 knowledge
- GD&T
- hand tools and measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, gage pins, ring gages, dial indicators)
- read and interpret blueprints, work orders, routers
- US citizenship is a requirement
