Beatrix is hiring part-time or full-time servers for its Chicago restaurants. Servers provide efficient, friendly guest service to a multi-table section (3-6 tables), record and process orders, balance sales, and ensure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include taking orders, following all steps of service, upselling current promotions, handling payments, aiding guests with questions about the menu, following allergy procedures, operating POS and payment terminals, and maintaining safety, sanitation, and teamwork. Must be able to work a variety of hours (including weekends) and lift/move items as needed; prior hospitality or food-service knowledge, multitasking, and strong communication skills are required.
