Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments through interviews, physical examinations, and medical history reviews. Administer and order diagnostic tests including x-rays, ECGs, and laboratory studies while interpreting results. Implement physician directives for short- and long-range patient care plans and document all services in department records. Perform in-office diagnostic endoscopies and assist with logistics, patient care, and documentation in the operating room. Provide continuity of care by developing management plans and counseling patients on therapeutic regimens. Adhere to infection-control protocols and comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Maintain professional knowledge through educational workshops and publications. Join the Los Angeles Center for Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy, a large private ENT group with over 18 locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university PA Program
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of California
- National Certification with NCCPA
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs. periodically
- Travel to clinic locations or sites as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of ENT experience preferred
