Job Summary
Coordinate patient referrals and verify insurance eligibility while entering data into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Serve as the primary liaison between patients and clinical staff to ensure adequate staffing and compliance with government regulations, including Medicare rules and JCAHO standards. Manage high call volumes and coordinate patient referrals to support smooth clinical operations. This role requires on-call availability, including weekends and holidays, with on-site hours Monday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of home health, hospice, or healthcare Intake/Scheduling experience
- High school diploma, GED (bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of Home Health or Hospice Intake and clinical staffing
- Sound knowledge of the Medicare rules and regulations including JCAHO regulation
- Willing to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, holidays, and/or on other shifts when necessary
- Capable of handling high call volume
