Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients develop skills for independent daily living using adaptive techniques and specialized equipment. Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals, while delivering individualized treatments and educating families on strategies to optimize functional independence. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, track patient progress through regular evaluations, and modify treatment plans as needed. Ensure smooth transitions during discharge planning and maintain accurate documentation in the medical record. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment. Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Master's Degree or higher of Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapy Assistant experience
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
