Job Summary
Provide compassionate, one-on-one support to clients in Columbia, MO, and surrounding areas by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and oral care. Perform light housekeeping, manage home tasks like laundry and meal preparation, and assist with range of motion exercises, transfers, and ambulation. Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration, and support medication administration under supervision. Utilize mechanical lifting devices as needed for safe patient handling. Flexible scheduling available for part-time, full-time, and PRN roles with weekly pay. Active MO CNA certification required for higher hourly rates. Required Qualifications
- Active MO CNA
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to use mechanical lifting devices
- Ability to transfer patients
- Ability to assist with ambulation
- Ability to perform range of motion exercises
- Ability to check vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Ability to assist with oral feeding
- Ability to perform nail care
- Ability to assist with grooming
- Ability to assist with bathing
- Ability to assist with dressing
- Ability to assist with toileting
- Ability to perform light housekeeping
- Ability to perform home management tasks (laundry, meal preparation, bed making)
- Ability to assist with medication administration
- Ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Ability to work flexible scheduling
- Ability to work part-time or full-time hours
- Ability to work PRN or fill-in shifts
- Ability to work in Columbia, MO and surrounding areas
