Job Summary
Environmental Compliance Manager responsible for ensuring shipyard operations comply with environmental regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain environmental programs to reduce environmental footprint; conduct audits/inspections and prepare compliance reports; provide training on policies and regulations; lead incident response and coordinate with regulatory agencies; maintain documentation and foster stakeholder engagement; drive continuous improvement in environmental management. Requires 5+ years of environmental compliance experience (3+ years in shipyard/maritime), a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred), and professional certifications such as CHMM or CEP are favored; bilingual in English and Spanish desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, with at least 3 years in the shipyard or maritime industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications such as CHMM or CEP preferred
