Job Summary
Entry-Level Shipyard Safety Coordinator responsible for monitoring and enforcing safety protocols on site, conducting routine safety inspections and hazard assessments, reporting incidents and assisting with investigations, supporting safety orientations and toolbox talks, and maintaining accurate safety records and documentation. Must be comfortable working outdoors and in extreme weather, and able to work overtime including nights and weekends. Education: high school diploma or GED required; traits include strong communication and leadership. Some shipyard experience required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Location: North Charleston, SC.
