Job Summary
Marine Electricians responsible for the installation, repair, and hook-up of equipment for electrical services on a ship at a shipyard. Requires knowledge of electrical theory, ability to troubleshoot and repair shipboard electrical systems and equipment up to 600 V, and adherence to safety procedures including Lock-out Tag-out. Includes a basic electrical shipbuilding written test and hands-on electrical hookup evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have worked knowledge of electrical theory and procedures

- familiar with all safety procedures pertaining to or where to obtain electrical procedures
