Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility while providing companionship and emotional support. Help with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and safe transfers to promote independence. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities as assigned, and observe changes in condition to report to the supervisor. Follow care plans and agency policies to ensure consistent service. Minimum age of 18 with legal work authorization required; CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Flexible full-time, part-time, or live-in overnight schedules available with weekend availability as a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed for client support or transfers
Desired Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, CNA, or home care experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Alzheimer's/Dementia Care Training
- Medication Administration (QMAP)
- CNA or HHA certification (optional)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus
- Weekend availability is a plus
