Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Provide companionship, emotional support, and help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement throughout homes. Offer medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities. Observe and report changes in client condition while following care plans and agency policies. Minimum age 18 with U.S. work authorization required; previous caregiving experience preferred. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available with live-in overnight option.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed for client support or transfers
Desired Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, CNA, or home care experience
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Alzheimer's/Dementia Care Training
- Medication Administration (QMAP)
- CNA or HHA certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages)
- Weekend availability
