Job Summary

Assist the Administrator in daily agency management, providing leadership to clinical and administrative staff while ensuring compliance with Nebraska DHHS regulations and CMS Conditions of Participation. Oversee clinical documentation, support quality assurance initiatives, and manage survey readiness and accreditation processes. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and community partners to monitor patient outcomes and promote continuous improvement. Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and assuming Administrator duties during their absence.

Required Qualifications

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska, in good standing.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in home health, hospice, hospital, or healthcare administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Nebraska home health regulations, CMS Conditions of Participation, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) and Microsoft Office.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional travel between patient homes, referral sources, or agency offices, if required.
  • Successfully pass all required criminal background checks in accordance with Nebraska law.
  • Meet applicable abuse and neglect registry screening requirements.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Maintain an active Nebraska RN license throughout employment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and ethical leadership.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with significant leadership experience.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Manager, Director of Nursing, Assistant Administrator, or Home Health Supervisor.
  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid home health regulations.
  • Experience preparing agencies for state surveys or accreditation.
  • Knowledge of OASIS documentation and quality reporting.
  • Experience with EVV systems and home health software.
