NOV Knuckle boom crane operator

Operate the vessel pedestal crane within designed load capacities, adhering to derating tables for weather and sea state conditions. Perform basket transfers, make daily inspections, and carry out routine maintenance on the crane and operator's cabin. Liaise with engineers to ensure repairs and preventive maintenance are carried out properly, while filling out the crane log book for lifts above 50 tons. Stop lifting activities if safety or technical grounds require it, and report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. Work 12 hours daily in a 28 days on, 28 days off cycle onboard the Saipem 12000 drillship offshore Namibia. Hold Level 2 or Level 3 certification for unsupervised lifts.
