Job Summary
Head Coach for wrestling at Notre Dame Prep responsible for leading, developing, and managing a competitive team; duties include planning and conducting daily practices, developing game strategies, supervising game day activities, coordinating with the Athletic Director on schedules, developing individualized player development plans, monitoring academic eligibility, maintaining team records, communicating with athletes, parents, and school staff, organizing team events, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations, and collaborating with the athletic department to foster an inclusive, championship-focused team culture. Requires strong leadership, knowledge of wrestling, ability to recruit and develop players, and commitment to balancing academics and athletics; evening/weekend work and travel may be required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred and First Aid/CPR certification is required.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required.
